ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Laurence Hudghton Photography is a small business in Manchester that produces photographic images for a range of customers, mainly specialising in food, but not exclusively.

We recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment and are dedicated to ensuring that we act in an environmentally responsible manner.

We are committed to the continual assessment of our environmental impact and to make continual improvements in our environmental performance.

We use environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice to establish the minimum standards for our environmental performance.

In particular we will:

Promote the practice of reusing and recycling materials or reducing the consumption of materials wherever possible.

Minimise waste in all our operations and service provision.

Work with our partner organisations to ensure that suppliers minimise the impact of their operations on the environment.

Reduce the use of energy and water by efficient utility management practices.

Identify environmental concerns and introduce initiatives to reduce their impact.

We are a member of and will seek to achieve the objectives of the 10:10 campaign

In order to ensure a coordinated approach to our environmental responsibilities, we ensure that all Members of Staff are fully aware of this policy and that the policy is communicated to all our customers via our business web-site.

This policy is established and approved by the Board of Directors.
